Glenwood Brooklyn is another National Historic neighborhood here is Raleigh. The Glenwood Land Co began selling off lots for building in 1905. Most of the homes here are of either Queen Anne or Craftsman. Many of the Craftsman homes are actual Sears, Roebuck and Co homes. Amazing you would write a letter and soon there would be all of the pieces at the train depot just waiting to be picked up and put together.

The residents of this neighborhood have quite a few get togethers each year. From the Monthly Community watch meetings to Monthly Happy Hours then the Annual Block party and Annual Tour of Historic homes there is always something to do here.
Glenwood Brooklyn Resturants
While there might not be any resturants inside the neoghborhood 1 block away is Glenwood South where you will find more than enough resturants and even more nightlife. The residents here enjoy having the best of both worlds so close together. They can enjoy a night on the back deck cooking out or live it up all night within just a few blocks of the house.
