This large developement in Downtown is quite impressive. There will be something for everyone! With Lofts, Row houses, Carriage Homes to Historic homes this neighborhood is going to have something for everyone.
In the past few years this development has stalled. Many projects saw a slow down but with changes in ownership and some creative thinking things are still moving. The homes directly on Blount st are still waiting a make over but are at least for sale waiting for the new owner to bring them back to what they once were. Most of the row homes have sold and there are even plans to continue building more. The commercial section at Peace st is currently under contract and the hopes is that it stays the course of retail on the lower levels and living units on the upper levels.
